William L. Eubank, Jr., CPA
William L. Eubank, Jr. is the Director-in-Charge of the tax practice. He serves clients in many areas including medical and legal professionals, trusts, estate and gift planning for individuals, small business tax compliance and related planning, partnerships and corporations. He has helped clients with corporate mergers and acquisitions. He has managed tax engagements for all types of industries in Mississippi
and throughout the
United States, including Appeals and testifying in the U.S. Tax Court. Bill has been active in maintaining the liaison relationship between the Internal Revenue Service and the Firm.
J. Frank Betts, CPA
J. Frank Betts as the Managing Member of Eubank & Betts provides services to clients for accounting, auditing, business and individual tax planning, and tax services. He has many years experience with corporations, partnerships, and limited liability companies. Frank also has auditing and accounting experience in many business industries, government, charitable organizations, real estate, retirement plans, Medicaid and Medicare cost reimbursement methods and litigation support. His audit and accounting experience allows him to provide consulting services to other CPA firms in America as well as serving the firm’s clients in these areas. He is also the Director-in-Charge of Peer Review for the many CPA Firm reviews conducted by Eubank & Betts each year. Frank presently serves on the International Board of Directors of CPA Associates.
Stephen C. Hirn, CPA
Steve Hirn is the Director-in-Charge of Real Estate Services for the Firm. His other areas of practice include wholesale and retail business, restaurants, professional service firms, nonprofit organizations and financial institutions. He provides real estate services to clients for acquisition, development, commercial operation, and multi-family housing, including areas of government assistance. Steve also serves client needs in the areas of audited, reviewed and compiled financial statements; forecasting and projecting and budgeting; agreed upon procedures, compliance with contracted and regulatory agreements; business planning and evaluation of purchase or sale of businesses. In his tax practice areas, he works extensively with individuals, partnerships and corporate clients, as well as specialized services such as depreciation cost segregation studies.
James E. Wood, CPA/ABV, CVA
Jimmy Wood is the Director-in-Charge of the Firm’s Audit and Accounting and Business Valuation services. Additionally, he devotes a significant amount of time and effort toward client tax planning and compliance matters. He has expertise in the areas of automotive dealers, financial institutions, wholesale/retail trade, nursing homes, construction and real estate development. Jimmy also serves on the Mississippi State CPA Peer Review Committee and performs peer reviews for CPA firms nationwide.
Hogan E. Allen, CPA
Hogan Allen is the Director-in-Charge of Government Services with primary responsibilities in the areas of auditing and accounting services. He has comprehensive experience in accounting and consulting for governmental and non-profit clients. Hogan’s history of client service also includes financial institutions, broker/dealers, professional service companies, utility providers, equipment dealers, wholesale/retail trade activities, nursing homes facilities, construction, real estate development and partnerships.
George W. Hammack, CPA
George Hammack is the Director-in-Charge of the Cost Segregation Practice for the Firm. He serves client needs in the areas of wholesale and retail business, restaurants, professional service firms, real estate and funeral homes. His areas of practice also include tax compliance, tax planning, business planning, and evaluation of purchase or sale of businesses. In his tax practice areas, George works extensively with individuals, partnerships and corporate clients.
